Snowdown Court is a scheltered scheme promoting independent
living for older people. There are 34 x 1 bedroom flats and 1
x two bedroom flat with stair and lift access to the first
floor. The scheme is in a central village location on the
Market Square with local shops, a post office and health services
within a few minutes' walk. Residents enjoy good
communal facilities and a variety of social activities with
many opportunities for community involvement. Events and
trips are open to the general public and advertised on
the notice board situated outside Snowdown Court.

Eastry Court is one of the sheltered housing schemes run by
Dover Districy Council. The aim of the scheme is to enable
older members of the community to live as independently as possible
with the support of a Sheltered Housing Officer in a safe and
secure environment.
