Snowdown & Aylesham Football club currently has four teams
running in Aylesham:
- Under 8's
- Under 9's
- Under 10's
- Under 11's
The teams are supported by its 250 members and 35 volunteers
who's commitment to the club has been essential to ensure the clubs
progression. This support has helped the club to achieve the
coveted "FA Charter Standard Award". The
Chartered Standard Scheme is the best practice guide that sets
standards of coaching, administration and child protection for all
clubs outside the Football League and Premier
League. The hardwork and commitment displayed by members
and supporters to grassroots football in the area has been
rewarded by this status and as a benchmark for quality this
award will improve the playing experience for all.
The Kent County FA are committed to club development and have
set an ambitious target for having 75% of mini soccer and youth
teams playing within a Chartered Standard by 2012.
